..re: the Bronson corner project; i saw this play out, up in hollywood, over on whitley/yucca. there was an older style senior residential building (probably built back in the 30s). the last time i was there, it had been demolished, and replaced with a 21st century mostrosity. i'm sure nobody working-class could afford the rent in the new builidng (aka more CEO housing), but deeper still, what happened to all the elderly residents that used to live there?
