I am proud of your outstanding work which lead to the award. I will go over the entire blog as soon as I can. I congratulate your intellectual and creative drive which will keep others informed of what Los Angeles has to contribute to history. ~Mom

AS SOMEONE WITH ARTHRITIS, I FEAR A WALKING TOUR WOULD BE TOO STRENUOUS. I HAVE ENJOYED GETTING OFF THE TOUR BUS TO DO SMALLER JAUNTS AS SITTING TOO LONG CAN LEAD TO STIFF JOINTS. I WONDERED IF RENTING A LARGER-THAN-AVERAGE VAN MIGHT BE A POSSIBILITY IN THE FUTURE TO MIX SHORTER WALKS WITH RIDING.

After many years giving tours on a coach class bus, with stops to get off and explore, we now just offer walking tours. For a virtual exploration, you might enjoy some of the webinar programming we streamed during lockdown (http://esotouricvideo.substack.com). And if you ever want to give a walking tour a try, Evergreen Cemetery is a leisurely one where we spend a lot of time at individual graves, and some guests have brought folding chairs to use at the stops.

I would be interested in more information about your reward if you have time to explain more. Babs

It was an award, not a reward, for keeping noir alive through our tours and advocacy. The video is what we said when accepting it in October at NoirCon!
