Each year during Thanksgiving weekend, in observation of Richard's natal day, we offer a special all-day sightseeing adventure that will never be repeated. This year, we've arranged to visit a fascinating selection of National Register and local landmarks that together tell a tale of the complex and creative Southern California character. From the sprawling Mission Revival mansion where architect Wallace Neff was born to the elegant library gifted by Norton Simon to neighbors of his vegetable packaging empire to a citrus ranching time capsule that might just show up in your sweetest dreams, the tour is our best approximation of the experience of one of our own personal days of exploration. And of course there will be an Indian buffet lunch and delicious birthday cake included, and such good company. It's a packed day of Southern California history that you won't want to miss and we'd love to see you there.
