Greetings from your friendly historic Los Angeles sightseeing tour company, now offering walking tours. Sunday’s planned La Brea Tar Pits Time Travel Trip has been postponed due to the anticipated rain, but we’ll return next Saturday, December 10, in the West Adams neighborhood for All Around the Auto Club. Then on December 17, it’s a dark Downtown excursion with our Angels Flight Railway operator pal Nathan Marsak, Bunker Noir!
While hashing out the route and slideshow for Nathan’s tour, we remembered a rare short film that our friend Nancy Dowd (screenwriter of Slap Shot and other cool films) showed us when we first started telling groups about the failed redevelopment scheme that erased a wonderful Victorian neighborhood. And we wanted to share this unforgettable confection with you.
