Reminds me of a Cease and Desist letter I received from a state senator —who claimed to be an environmentalist— for the crime of exposing their blatant lies and their cozy relationship with the fossil fuel industry.

I cannot believe what I have just read, and yet I can. This could be taken from Terry Gilliam’s brilliant film, “Brazil”! Now I am even more glad to have just booked a Noir bus tour for October 21.

One day we'll laugh about all this--maybe as soon as the Noir bus. See you then!

Being the target of schmuck grifters who like to use their political minions to target do-gooder activists is such a City of Angels thing. Hollywood would be short a few hundred or so movies without the sleaze that good folks like yourselves expose. Keep up the good fight, we are in your corner!

Wow. What a slimey move. You are part of the Noir story of Los Angeles now. I always worry about you guys because you are truly fearless. You are doing angels' work!

We figure we were written into the city's Noir history when our proposed public corruption tour got mentioned in the Feds' jury filings in councilman Jose Huizar's case last year, before he confessed to racketeering. Thanks for having our back, pal!

It's important to understand how the slow walking of the Huizar case potentially saved him (and others) from additional charges .

"an unnamed political consultant is accusing you of being an unregistered lobbyist " plus they are no doubt "filming" the interview and probably looking to setup honest folks.

The new head of the Ethics Commission works for a political consulting firm. It's like leaving your 14 year old daughter with Hunter Biden as a baby sitter as you leave for a long weekend.

If people only understood how much more livable the city would be if the available resources were not diluted by outright corruption and political favors (plus a bit of stupidity)

Take no prisoners
