Regarding Marilyn Monroe's house, I mention a lot about the house and her strange death, with some new insights on Ezra Goodman's involvement in the case. The article is "Ellroy's Hollywood 1962 on BookstoreMemories.com. Should the house be a Landmark? I think it should be a Museum. So much happened there, Ellroy fictionalized it, but the facts are just as bad. It's another example of the dark side of Hollywood, the mob, the politicians (think RFK), payoffs, the Studios, and Marilyn's Death. Anyone who has been on that little street, so quiet and beautiful, would be amazed at all the mayhem that took place there and near there. I think turning the whole place into the Marilyn Museum would be fitting, although I can just hear the screeching of the billionaires who live near there. The thought of tour buses and the unwashed masses trudging around their quiet streets would be too much.
Thank you for writing this expose. It’s so great that demolition of this landmark was prevented. Good work. And many more
Here's hoping!
Bravo
You let the world of Hollywood hold on to their memories
An incredible feat give the way money buys influence
