I have traced a woman I'm researching to Rancho Los Amigos in 1930. She is listed as an "inmate" at the Woman's Ward. She died in 1933, and I suspect her remains are interred at the Potters Field Cemetery. Very sad!
We'd love to know more about the people who died at Rancho Los Amigos in this period and have no other known burial site, with an aim of properly memorializing those who were, or are, interred on that parcel.
I just found out that my great grandfather died on the farm in 1922. I would love to know what happened to his remains. It's very sad to think all those people have just been forgotten about.
Have you tried to find his burial place, or are you just starting to research that? Feel free to email us, tours@esotouric.com, and we'll be happy to share what information we've found.
Thank you for compiling these historical events. Fascinating but very unfortunate.
