There are two beautiful mirror-image courtyard apartments just below Sunset Blvd 1 block west of Fairfax. Bryan MacLean lived-in one and wrote "Alone Again Or" at 1410 1/2 Hayworth. It's across the street and a couple doors south from Sheila Graham's apartment where F. Scott died.
You have missed an amazing bungalow on the corner of Edinburgh and Waring. 750 Edinburgh. It is an incredible example of the Hollywood Bungalow Apt. it is still there! Well worth a visit.
It is on the map, not as a dart but as a box. Some of the data we imported draws a border around the whole parcel, but if you enter the address you'll see your old home is noted. It's one of the most famous and hard won surviving bungalow courts of all.
I lived there from 1987 to 1995. One of the best times of my life. My apt was a Time Capsule. Complete with a tiny built in refrigerator working off of one central compressor that was in the back by the garages. AMAZING.

Thank you, Kim--we have added these bungalow courts to the map and will be listening to the great Bryan MacLean today.
Is there a list that includes the number of units/bungalows in each court?
You can find that information on the city's ZIMAS website (http://zimas.lacity.org) under the "Assessor" section for any address.

I love you guys! I have some wonderful stories about that place and some of the now famous people that lived there. Thank you for all you do!!!
Maybe you'll write a bungalow court life book, or zine. We would read it!
