Thank you for bringing your 2021 webinar about the pioneering Los Angeles architect Paul R. Williams out from behind the paywall as a community service. I’m very curious as to why more geological surveys weren’t done or were ignored before building was approved. I’ve read that the land slippage has been going on since the 1950’s. It seems that an architect of his caliber would have been aware of that.

Williams was aware of the land issues when brought on for phase two of this development, and the homes he built are mostly not impacted by the old slide or this new and extreme water incursion. But the neighborhood has earlier homes as well, and everyone in SeaView is effected by what's happening nearby.
